First grind or finished product?
Hole size is not a tonnage calculator. Material, moisture, tip wear, mill speed, and how full you run the machine all move the product.
Larger holes and more open area generally pass more, with less consistent sizing. Smaller / rounder holes generally size tighter, with less throughput. That is approximate guidance, not a formula.
Tell us the product you need (mulch, hog fuel, demo reduction) and we will spec the screen from there.
