Grade vs. contamination
What plate should this screen be?
Harder plate lasts longer in clean wood. Contaminants (steel, rock) crack or blow out a brittle screen. Milder plate can bend at the web instead of failing the whole sheet.
AGS cuts Hardox 450, AR400, and T1 when the job calls for them. That is not a guarantee and not a website picker — grade is a call: what you grind, how dirty it is, and how the screen is failing today.
Bring a photo of the worn screen if you have one.
